“When I was very young and the urge to be someplace else was on me, I was assured by mature people that maturity would cure this itch.  When years described me as mature, the remedy prescribed was middle age.  In middle age I was assured that greater age would calm my fever and now that I am fifty-eight perhaps senility will do the job.  Nothing has worked. . . . In other words, I don’t improve; in further words, once a bum always a bum.”                                                              John Steinbeck, “Travels With Charley”

We are still the same old - even older - bums from journals.worldnomads.com/vagabonds, well into the second year of our adventure.  Well, maybe not exactly the same.  We have been to all seven continents and you can hardly travel the world without changing.  Connie has now visited 104 countries and John, a measley 89.  There is still so much more to  see and learn and experience.  So look for us across the isle on the bus.  Or maybe we're the scruffily dressed guy and the tall blonde calmly waiting at baggage claim.  Is that us in the hostel kitchen?  We could be anywhere.  Want to come along?
