Brugge

Brugge

BRUGGE IS ONE OF THE MOST CHARMING CITIES we have visited, the kind of place visitors seek out.  It is historic, authentic, scenic and compact making it easy to explore.  And on this cold November day, Brugge was devoid of tourists.  Brugge is chock-a-block with art from Belgian Jan van Eyck to Michelangelo.  “Madonna and Child” is his  only sculpture to be removed from Italy during his lifetime.

Rather than recite her attributes, here is a look at what you can expect.
