About vagabonds3

“When I was very young and the urge to be someplace else was on me, I was assured by mature people that maturity would cure this itch. When years described me as mature, the remedy prescribed was middle age. In middle age I was assured that greater age would calm my fever and now that I am fifty-eight perhaps senility will do the job. Nothing has worked. . . . In other words, I don’t improve; in further words, once a bum always a bum.” John Steinbeck, “Travels With Charley”
Once again World Nomads has informed us that we have exceded our photo limit so it's time to start yet another chapter in the Vagabonds saga. We have been on the go for four years, have written 650 stories and added 6000 photos to our journals. We have visited nearly one hundred countries on all seven continents and slept in more strange beds than we can count. And, sad to say, we are running out of countries that we can visit with our US passports.
But fear not, as we used to say in the 60s, we are gonna keep on truckin.' So you keep on readin' OK? And if you have just discovered us and want to read our back-story, you can visit journals.worldnomads.com/vagabonds for Chapter One and journals.worldnomads.com/vagabondstoo for the more recent stuff. As always, you can contact us at john17connie@gmail.com.
Thanks and good travels,
John and Connie
