OUR FIRST STOP WHEN WE RETURNED TO THE US (after doing several loads of laundry) was to a ballgame — beisbol in Miami. This is the longest we've ever come for a game, four-hours driving each way. Marlins Park is beautiful with the Miami skyline visible over the outfield. Our seats were primo, 25 rows behind home plate. The game, however, was lethargic. Neither team had any spark. The Rockies, sadly, had less than the Marlins and fewer runs too. Even the fans were quiet. Derek, you’ve got a lot on your plate.

Today we joined the April Fools migration as hundreds of Snowbirds begin the trek North. We will get to Colorado by and by, but our immediate destination is Dallas where we will store the RV, fly to Auckland and take a 25th Anniversary South Pacific cruise to San Francisco. And when we ultimately get to Colorado in May, we will trade in the RVing life and return to world-wide vagabonding.
Stay tuned.
