Alison has been on Norfolk for three nights already and she's hardly seen a thing other than Mt. Pitt and several cafes in town. We had a blast at the Jolly Roger last night, and it was nice to see Alison smile. Still having to get the bank matter sorted out I wanted to get that done quickly and then show Alison around. She hadn't even been to Kingston before today, nor had she been for a swim. When it comes to Norfolk, I can truly take someone under my wing and show them round. We hitchhiked out to the Bumboras but Alison was cold and shivering, and didn't like the rocky beach. We thought we'd have it to ourselves but there were several other tourists lying on the beach. Finally we got a nice photo together!
It only took three days but better late than never. Whenever I'm on Norfolk and even when I think of this place, it brings a tear of joy to my eye. With the Bumboras wrapped up I was ready for a coffee, so we sat at Cafe Tempo for a bit whilst Alison wasn't feeling well. Kim Davies is Doosy's father, and we were invited to a BBQ held by him and some of his friends later on. Alison suggested bringing some wine and I was OK with that but I made clear that it's going in my bag and she isn't touching it until we were at the BBQ. Yesterday we discussed Barney Duffy's for dinner tonight but we were invited to the BBQ and a Norfolk beef steak and three lamb steaks set us back only $15. Stocked up with stuff for this evening, it was time for Alison to experience the magic of Emily Bay. Reminiscent of Cronulla Beach, Alison posed majestically in her Australia bikini.
Six colours I describe in Emily Bay Magic, the colours of Emily Bay are magical, and Alison fits in well.
Didn't I say in a previous story that we'd do a shoot on Norfolk Island? Alison thinks she isn't beautiful but she's utterly breathtaking! Gracefully she swam out to the pontoon and I followed; my first time taking a dip in the waters of Norfolk Island. After a nice swim, Alison posed a bit more.
Though some locals would baulk at anything with "Australia" on it, Alison is enjoying herself and can't stop talking about how friendly everyone is on Norfolk. Saturated with Emily Bay's magical and colourful waters, it was time to feast and have a few drinks. Alison had red and I had white whilst Kim barbequed the steaks and lamb.
They came out tasty. A magical Norfolk sunset was the icing on the cake.
Puppy's Point has the most magical sunsets but Emily Bay isn't too far behind. BBQs are a favourite summer activity on Norfolk and a great time for a feast and a catch up. Alison is heading back to Sydney morla (tomorrow), and I reckon this has been the best day with her.
