Patagonia Chocolates

NEW ZEALAND | Thursday, 7 August 2014 | Views [2174]

Fergburger gets all the attention here in Queenstown; travellers are constantly told "you have to try a Fergburger." However, there's another place that's ten times better. Patagonia is where I call in nearly every day for a hot chocolate! They are the best! Here I am sipping my daily hot chocolate.

There's a lot more to the place than hot chocolate. Patagonia is a sweet lover's paradise with more than two dozen different flavours of ice cream and more than three dozen different types of bar chocolate. I reckon Patagonia would blow out any sweet shop in Belgium or Switzerland.

Indulge in a hokey pokey ice cream whilst dipping a hot churro into some melted chocolate. If your sweet tooth is big enough, tuck into some 71% dark chocolate with almonds (my favourite). I'm not fond of lollies and sweets but I love dark chocolate; I'll have it dark, melted, rich, nutty, or smooth. The stuff is divine! To top it off there's a gorgeous view of the lakefront.

Who needs a Fergburger when you can use all five senses in Patagonia. And after all, it was sipping a hot chocolate where I met my good friend Lia.

In a few days I'm leaving Queenstown, and whenever I leave I miss indulging in a hot chocolate from the best place on Earth!
