I assume the photo above is on Sulayman Mountain overlooking Osh, a great place to consider its 3,000 year history along the Silk Road? Did you go to the The National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex Sulayman?

Yes, the photo is from Sulayman:) & yes, I did go to the Museum, which was fascinating. I especially loved the multicolored marble "paintings." They were incredible! I've been fortunate to see a number of marble "paintings" in China and elsewhere, but the depth of the colors and the numbers of hues from the different marbles used in the images in Osh are absolutely unique. (& it was kind of fun to see an image of the nation's President next to an ad with Mickey Mouse right below Alexander's Fortress, which is above the museum:))
