We are busy busy busy, Kent is working very hard getting the last rooms of the house finished. The lounge is almost done and the 3rd bedroom is being plastered and sanded ready for painting. Next week the carpet man will come and do his stuff. We have sold or given away or stored most of our things but still have heaps of stuff to sort, sell, get rid of. It's amazing the stuff you accumulate over the years.

We have been hosting some couchsurfers the latest being Lee from England. He seemed to enjoy his weekend with us which included a night out at the Maketu Gentlemens (motorbike) Club. He had a good time getting to know some pretty heavy duty bikers and we all had a go in the speed pool tournament.

We have just had a really cold snap here which included SNOW! on Mount Ngongotaha. First snow I have ever seen here in the 20 plus years I've been here. It's a bit weird to think that in a month we will be in Los Angeles thinking that it's too hot.
