Muddily May

NEW ZEALAND | Friday, 13 May 2011 | Views [795]

We daily run the gambit of changing climate, today we had an extremely misty morning which developed into overcast then the sun came out in the afternoon but by 5pm huge black clouds came over and down came the rain.

It has been a good month. Kent's Dad came up from Napier and helped Kent start on the repairs to the bathroom. As of today it isn't finished but just the tiling and painting of the walls to do. It has been rented out again as of the end of the month.

Carol has healed well and on her new meat and dairy free, no added sugar diet she is really healthy and feeling great. It was her 55th birthday on the 9th which was well celebrated with friends at Maxines house. She has also just got herself a new part time job in a real estate office. They took her on knowing of her upcoming chemotherapy and she is excited about it.

The motorcycle club had a charity ride last weekend and the weather was perfect and a good amount of money was raised. We have had two seperate couchsurfers come and stay with us at Mikes and it has been great fun. Claudia from Germany joined us for both Carol's birthday and for the charity run and had a ride on the back of a Triumph with Paddy. Jason from China just joined us for one night.

New amazing news is that we have bought ourselves a house to live in, we both love the house. It is a little different from what we thought we would buy funnily enough and is quite big. We move in next month so will get some pics to put up here.

Life is good :)
