Spring in Kiwiland

NEW ZEALAND | Monday, 18 November 2019 | Views [375]

The weather has been better than the last few years this spring, we're hoping for a wonderful summer.

After returning from USA I was here a couple of weeks then went to Oz to look after my granddaughter G in her school holidays. The weather is so nice over there that I'm tempted to move...

Back to NZ and the next week was the WRWR (Women Riders World Relay) that went the length of New Zealand. I joined it and rode from the start at Waitangi to Taupo. The weather was forecasted to be storms but didn't eventuate on my two legs and the riding was very good. Over 200 women bikers which is pretty good for our little country. From Taupo on down they rode in sleet and cold, glad I didn't continue on.
