Our 4 day itinerary, Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek in the Annapurna range. While we were trekking, a trekker told us about the terrorist attack in Paris; it felt so strange being so far away and actually having visited some of the attack sites ... We are relieved people we know there are safe.

Just received our trekking permits, we are ready to hike in the Himalayas! :-)
Nepal is all about mountains as we can see on the 1000 rupee bill.

People usually hire a guide and a porter. AF had her own personal porter ;-) lol You can see how some people are silly; they take big suitcases with wheels. Poor porters, some of these bags are at least 30kg/65lbs! Absurd. Someone should check their bags before they left and throw out half of their things! :-( That's what we did, just common sense.
