1st week of the dream come true!

We stayed in Caraz, a small town in the Cordillera Blanca.
Elevation 2256 m - 7402 ft. It's the beginning of the altitude sickness, we didn't plan enough time to acclimatize. :-( that's why we are drinking coca leaves tea everyday and several times per day but it didn't seem to go away.

After the coast, we took the overnight bus to the famous Cordillera Blanca. Visit of the canyon del pato near Caraz.

Don't forget though that Cordillera Blanca is even higher than the Alps, elevation of the highest mountain here is 6768 m- 22205 ft.
