Another Caribbean island I have visited before. This time I stayed on the Dutch side and stayed on the beach.
I woke up nice and early and got to the beach before the crowds. The beach was full of deck chair lounges anywhere from $25. I went and plonked by brazilian towel in front of the chairs as I was not paying that. The guy came by and said I could use it for free as there was nobody around. I didn't though just in case I got charged.
I enjoyed my morning in the beautiful calm sea with white sand. It was lovely having it to myself. Once the crowds came I left to explore the town of Philipsburg.
Some stores didn't survive covid. I remembered a lot of the area. I saw more street art this time which I enjoyed finding as I explored in the hot sun.
I didn't try to go to the airport beach with the plane landing near the beach as there is never a plane there when you want it.
