Paris & Rome

From Dover, we took a ferry to
Calais (France) and then a train to Paris (somehow, we didn’t pay for the train
tickets as there was a problem with the computers and we were supposed to pay
on the train and there’s nobody to get paid…) . 3 days in Paris at the Apollo
Hotel (opposite Gare Du Nord). The hotel (70 euros) is really old and bad, but
come on, it’s Paris. For 3 days, we walked around and saw almost everything.
Paris is an amazing city, so beautiful and vibrant (not as moving as Lisbon but
definitely gorgeous). From Paris we went
to Rome for 2 days. Got lucky, nice
hotel for the same 70 euros… 2 days
walking around Rome (really beautiful by the way) and we felt it’s time to
start our holidays as such. Time to go
