Naxos - Greece

We took a train to Ancona (Italy)
and then a ferry to Athens. From Athens,
another ferry to Naxos. The ferries are amazing and the entire country is
linked by them. Naxos felt like home, we both fell in love with the place at
first sight. Nice, clean, slow paced, nice people, not too busy, the ocean has
the most fantastic shades of blue/green,
nice villas, restaurants, … After 5 minutes I said to Paul I would only leave
Naxos when the immigration police arrest me for overstaying my visa. It’s
really nice here. Got totally lucky again, very nice studio apartment for 25
euros. Pretty new, with kitchen, air conditioning, TV, very friendly owners,
why would I want to leave this place? We left anyway, went to Koufonissi
(another island where Paul lived 20 years ago, for 9 months). After 2 days in
Koufonissi we came back crawling to Naxos, where we are planning to spend June
& July.
