Well I am now back at work, and can't I tell I've had 6 weeks off.  My shoulders, finfers arms and legs all ache !!  We have been bust mustering and sorking cattle this week and have had about 3000 head throught he yards.  It's been pretty full on with early starts and late finishes.  Must be the reason I can't sleep now and am writing this at 5am !!  Next week I think we will be heading down to Clio & Wetherby again and sorting ou steers and I think the plan is to sell 9 roadtrains full which if they all come at once will be quie  sight.  I'll get some pictures if I get chance.

Te weather is warming up nicly too, just as it starts to get cooler at home - it got to aroung 35 yesterday and was 17 when we got up !!

Anyway.  I am going to try and get back to sleep now, or maybe have breakfast.

Hi Ed
What a surprise to find you connected last night and it was really good to chat.
Glad to hear all is well at Jessievale and that you are, albeit slowly, getting back into the routine of a RFTTE. Pleased also to hear that your knee is OK. Perhaps it just needed that bit of TLC from your Mum!!
Look after it Ed and do take good care of yourself.
Well its blowing a gale here today so I guess all the lovely coloured leaves will part company from the trees - pity and a sure sign that we are nearer to winter than summer Dark nights etc!!
Andy & Ms do not have internet connection at the moment so I will be relaying all the news from you. They are just fine and enjoying their new home. Mel was a fantastic help when they moved and kindly we had the use of his van so Andy and Ms are taking him out for a meal tonight which will,I am sure, also include a nice cup of tea. I will try and email some pictures - highlights of the move.
Life is just jogging along nicely - we are having our new neighbours at No 7 around for a drink this evening, They have a baby Jake so its nice to have a youngster about the place.
Hope Wetherby and Clio will not to be too hard work but I am sure you will be busy with nine road trains to load. As you say should be a good photo opportunity for you there.
Please remember us to everyone especially Charlie. Hope to speak to you again soon. LOL Mum & Dad xxxx

Hello Eddie

Hope you are ok and that your body is begiining to get used to work again , it doesn't take long for it to let you know that you havn't been doing this type of work for a while. I have had a few problems with my back and I hadn't been able to go out running for a couple of weeks, when I started again I was like an old traction engine, I have finally got back into my stride.
We are about to go through yet another re-organisation at work, so here's hoping that third time lucky I maybe able to ****** ! I don't like to mention the word and tempt fate.It looks like we are going to follow the Commercial route and have larger Regions, but we will have to wait and see, they say variety is the spice of life.
We were out with some friends last Friday night in York for a curry and met Jane Simpson in the restaurant, she asked to be reminded to you and was sorry she had missed you when you were over.
As Sue has mentioned the wind is blowing a gale, luckily it is blowing the right way for us and all the leaves on the trees are going over onto the road which will save having to rake up later.
We are also about to go over o Garforth and sought my Mum and Aunt out, my aunt collapsed at Tesco on Tuesday and has been in St James's hospital for two days and no one knew! She had given our names to the hospital and they had said they couldn't locate us and they sent her home in taxi togther with her shopping which included frozen food which had been beside her bed whilst in hospital. So we are going shopping for her again.

Hope you get all the cattle mustered, it will certainly be a sight to see that many cattle, it hard to imagine the scale and size of the station when it can hve that many animals and more.
Simon and Emma are now back from their belated honeymoon and they had a super time. Simon is now back on the Leeds Utd cycle now that cricket has finished.
Take Care
Chalrs and Shirley
