I've been traveling around Australia for over three years now, and in my time off from traveling I work on a cattle station in NW Queensland.  I work and live on the station with a great family and spend my days sitting on horses or motorbikes chasing cows around.  I've travelled to most of the "usual" places that tourists see, but also some of the more unsusal events around the place, but mostly in Queensland.  I have yet to cross the Tasman and see the little island off the bottom, and haven managed to get to the ACT either.  Plenty of time for that in the next couple of years.
