Ed in Oz Travels around the stations & pubs of Australia

Hi All, just thought we'd put a message to let you know that we've arrived on the other side of the world safe & sound.  The flights were pretty good but unfortunately when we arrived at Brisbane Airport our tour guide 'Ed "Mrs Chalmers" Bird was no where to be seen - so whatelse could we do but sample the local ale - even tho it was 7:30 in the am and we were left for about 3 hours!!! Consequently when "Judith" arrived we were slightly worse for wear!!!  We travelled into Brisbane and our first stop was the XXXX brewery tour which culminated in numerous free samples.  We then grabbed a quick bite to eat before retiring to bed pretty god damn early!!!  Got up this morning and picked up the hire car and proceeded to travel North to 'Rocky' via Rainbow Beach.  Arrived in Rocky about 7:30 tonight and have been in the bar pretty much ever since!!!  Tomorrow we are on a trip with 'Capricorn Dave' - a cross between Steve Irwin & Jackass - so that promises to be interesting!!!  Well that's about all for now - we have another night in Rocky tomorrow before we head out to Longreach.  Will be in touch again soon.  Lots of Love Ed, Andy, Mel & Lepricorn Dave xxxx
