UNITED KINGDOM | Wednesday, 29 August 2007 | Views [1148] | Comments [2]

Just to let all that I have not seen know, I am back in the UK for a month.  Friday 24th August was my Brothers wedding day and he and his bride both looked wonderful.  Iwill be here in the UK cathcing up with as many people as possible over the next couple of weeks before heading back out to Oz until November 2008.

Hope you have all enjoyed reading the blog so far and please continue to look at the blog.  I have put some more pics on of the wedding so you can see how good we all looked !!

Can you believe after all the nights out over the last 8 months, the biggest celebration of the all for which I travelled 22000 miles and I didn't even get drunk !!

Have a look at the pics and stories and please keep putting comments on when you get time.  It's the only way I know who's looking at the blog.

Thnaks again

Nice to have you back on home soil, Ed!

Hope you're keeping well and, remember, if you're passing - J24, M1 - be good to see you!

Hello everyone
Welcome back. All is quiet in the Bird's of Halifax household (remember there are two Mr & Mrs Bird's now!)
We have had a wonderful time with Eddy back in the fold.
He has been very busy, has been here, there and almost everywhere and has had a super time back here in Blighty.
The highlight was of course the Wedding of the Year. The sun shone all day, the Bride looked stunning, Andy was as proud as punch, Shirley and Charles the perfect hosts, the Ushers and Best Man were Ace, and we were just blown away by it all. No one wanted the day to end - it was amazing and our thanks go to everyone for helping to make it so. It will live in our memories for ever.
The celebrations continued throughout the course of the weekend and we are now all enjoying the photographs which will be a lasting reminder of the day.
Sacha from Brisbane stayed with us for a week, it was great to see you again and we hope you continue to enjoy your stay in UK
Eddy has now returned to Australia- to Perth actually and his friend Melvyn has gone with him and will stay for a month to sample all that Australia has to offer. They plan to travel along the South coast and then up the East coast as far as Rockhampton - Eddy then plans to work in the Northern Territory and Melvyn will reurn to UK from Brisbane. We took them to Manchester airport yesterday and were assured it was Terminal 3.
Parked the car and treked to the terminal only to discover it should be terminal 2. Now terminal 2 and terminal 3 are separated by terminal 1. Not to worry, Phil had ensured that we would arrive in good time, enough time to build terminal 4 in fact! So we all made our way to terminal 2 and we left Eddy and Melvyn there to check in, hoping that their journey would go well. (now to those in the know - I must tell you that I did not manage to lose Philip, I must take some more lessons from you experts!)
So there we are - all geared up and ready to enjoy catching up with you all through the Blog.
To Eddy and Melvyn, have a real good time and take good care of each other.
With our love as always Sue & Phil xx
