Just thought I would put a quick update on here now while I have some time to spare at Dubai airport !!
It's 4am Dubai time, which is midnight UK time and 10am Brisbane time, and it's been a long day so the times might not be right.
Everybody here in the airport is asleep except me and the poor people that are working in the massive duty free area, but I've seen it all and looked round all the shops twice now and I still have 4 and a bit hours until boarding.
The journey here was good. The airline has a brilliant entertailment system on board, so it made the first leg of the journey fly by (no pun intended). All the UK number ones ever, You Me and Dupree, and Good Morning Vietnam were my choice, along with a few games of pong off the old Atari computers.
There was a guy sat in my isle by the window that was drinking for the whole flight (it was free too) and by the time we landed he was struggling to walk ! so that was fun to watch. He sounded to be a regular and all the staff on the plane knew him - sort of like an upper class tramp i guess - probly from Bradford to be honest ! And he did look a bit that way too - carrier bags n all !
Well thats all for now, I'll put some more photos up when I get to Oz, and thanks to all those that have put comments on so far.
