Cruising de Nile

We book a
cruise on the Nile, 3 days/2 nights, 5 star boat, pick up from the hotel, all
mod cons on the boat and full board. Sounds pretty amazing? Well, it is. The
food is good, the room is nice, big and comfortable, the people on the cruise
are nice and quiet, it’s all good and we are on our way from Luxor to
Aswan. The Nile is mighty and it’s green
all around it, wide and beautiful, long and silent, what a great way to travel,
can’t be more relaxing (yeah, coz we are really stressed out…). It’s peaceful, exciting, it’s romantic, it’s exotic and a step back in
time. Kids swimming in the river, oxen
taking a dip and fishermen well, fishing. So
great, we don’t want to get off!!! But
we have to when we get to Aswan. We take the overnight train from Aswan to
Cairo, OK, not as great as the Turkish trains but not bad indeed.
