Ed in Oz Travels around the stations & pubs of Australia

Don't want to make you green but ....

Today, I have had pancakes for my breakfast, got the bus up the Pacific Highway to Surfers Paradise (they really have a place called that)  Saw a swimwear competition, got the bus back to the YHA, hired a board, and had the afternoon in the water which was at about 25 degrees.  It beats getting in the car along the M62 to Leeds in the rain/cold/wet.

Hope the UK is well.

Hi Eddy
We have toast for breakfast - rather bleary eyed as we put the clocks forward last night! Do you have to do that in Oz.
Andy & Ms called briefly last night on their way over to see George & Beth. Hope they remember to alter their clocks!
Having a nice quiet weekend after a busy week but its been rather cold these last few days with the winds out of the North. No such problems for you you lucky boy. Hope the surfing is good.
Take good care.

Eddy the waves at Cayton provide excellent surfing and they say the temperature of the water puts hairs on yor chest. The greasy spoon on the sea front do excellent breakfasts, I'm sure if you go on shove Tuesday they may prepare you a pancake. I am sure it compares with the Great Barrier Reef, the water is so clear!
Hope you enjoy your week off sight seeing before you move onto your next farm.
Hope the flight went ok
Look forward to hearing all about the adventure.
Take care

Australia is good - Brisbane - Gold Coast - Steaks on the waterfront - life is good down under.
Have used nearly all forms of public transport and will use an internal flight up to Rocky on Tuesday where we will meet up with Brian and all Eddys pals and perhaps glean abit about what he has actually been up to these past 4 months / I wish. All is well and we are really enjoying ourselves. Hope all is well in UK
Take care everyone

This way of life continues to be brilliant! Weather fantastic and great to be seeing new places every day.
Yesterday we went to Australia Zoo which was brought to everyones attention by the antics of Steve Irwin and his family. Great to see "different' types of animals, and the journey there was not without its adverntures as was the journey back into Brisbane. When we log off from here we are heading to the Cental Railway station and will catch a train to the airport and from there we leave for Rockhampton. We are all fit & well here doqwn under
