Got to see an old mate Kerry and her boyfriend Evan last night. Went for drinks and some Thai dinner. Had fantastic NZ WHite Wine. Best I have ever had. I just drank that all up. I will have to do the wine tour of that.
It was great seeing Kerry and especially seeing her so happy. I have missed her and all my old friends. Sometimes I wish I had stayed in closer touch with mroe emails etc. However we were all lazy a bit... I guess though just in true friend style we caught up had a laugh a ball and I know we will see each other again. Even if we don't do the email and phone thing all the time. Hopefully that will change - dunno... we'll see...
We also got to see a great rugby game. Blues vs the Bulls. It was pretty rough and tight game. Well worth the effort to go on our own. No tour for us - we generally don't like the tours as they tend to be a rip off! Our seats were centre and so close we could early smell the players errr... The home team won ofcourse but with just 30 seconds to go the other team nearly got a try... close but no cigar. hehe
