We actually now staying in New Jersey as Melissa moved in with Dave here. So on the return to NYC, we walked to the ferry port and took a ferry across to New Jersey (7USD each) not cheap considering that Amsterdam offers this same service for its residents for free every 15 minutes every day! But hey, everywhere is different. The ferry ride was fun, freezing! We loved watching the city from far - only a shame our camera was not with us to capture it.
The apartment boasts wonderful views of NYC across the water. Is large and grand - loads of drinks in the bar... we have our own room and bathroom and tv... wow.. they are so nice to let us stay. Especially since Dave is just met us NOW! haha
Dave is a sweetie. We adore him alot already! We had a great dinner together. Loads of laughs and getting to know each other. Was great. Again easily we feel at home here.
After dinner Dave went to bed as he has to get up at 3am for work - ouch. We stayed up for dessert, tried to order a camcorder (I won't even bother to tell that insane story) and I stayed up to watch tv. Love the tv here! haha
Anyway pouring rain now today - so we decided to catch up on the website! haha
Tongiht is a basketball game, Nicks vs Utah - should be great! tell all tomorrow!
