Went out on friday night with 3 girls that are staying in the same hostel as me. Bernie from Northern Ireland I had already met in Whitianga, and Sarah and Deborah from Scotland were her room mates in Auckland. We started in the MINUS 5 bar on the waterfront. The inside of the bar is made completely of ice and the vodka drinks are served in ice glasses. Coats, gloves and boots are provided to keep warm and you are only allowed to stay for 30 mins. We then moved on to a few more bars ending up at an Irish bar. We arrived back at the hostel at 3.30am for a brew and bed. All the girls are great and we all had a good, if slightly drunken time.
