Who am I?
For those of you that don't know me, my name is Andrew and I live near Skipton in North Yorkshire, England. My first ever solo trip took place in 2008 when I travelled for 3 months in New Zealand, 3 months in Australia, and ended with a 4 day stopover in Singapore. I didn't know what to expect, but I was determined to make the most of every opportunity and to enjoy every experience that came my way.
After my first sucessfull trip I set off again in 2009, this time for 2 months on the Eastern side of Canada. I was looking forward to meeting friends made on my last trip and making many new ones along the way.
During 2010 I travelled to various places through Europe, including Prague (three times), Zlin and Brno in the Czech Republic, Berlin and Gorlitz in Germany, Vienna in Austria and had a brief stop in Amsterdam.
The current plan for 2011 is a 7 week trip to Canada. This time spending just 1 week on the Eastern side then across the country by train, and the remainder of the trip will be spent exploring the West side.
Who is Rory?
Rory was my dog who died in 2007 after being my companion for 10 years.
