Mat and Vendy's travels

My friend and student Javier, who has as much of a love for food as me - if not more, took us to this tiny town on top of a mountain near the Pyrenees for us to try a typical dish for shepherds, from this region. called 'Migas' It's made from bread crumbs, bacon/ham, onion (and i cant remember what else but its a delicious dish). It was brought out in a big bowl which we all shared, and after that Vendy had some lovely fish and I had lamb, cut into small pieces similar to a stew - it was gorgeous and we all loved it.

What added to this lovely day was the weather, as we woke up to a sunny day with a thin, even layer of snow - which was competely unexpected for Vendy and me.
