Woke up before sunrise and took advantage of the breeze to squeeze in a short run.
Grabbed a coffee at this cute little beach shed cafe - cool beans en route to the dive shop & I was set.

Epic day of transit. Left Guatemala at 5am in a shuttle headed across the border to Belize city. Ideally I would have been able to get out in Belmopan rather than Belize city but I knew I would have no such luck :(

Managed a morning run around the tiny town of Flores. Entire place done in 12 minutes or so. A couple of laps in 90% humidity was well & truly enough!

We set off to Semuc Champey & the Kam'ba Caves at around 8.30am.

Sunrise over the volcanoes at 5.50am was spectacular. With breakfast by the campfire at 6.30am we left around 7.30 with Nere & Osso to climb to the shoulder of Volcan Fuego.
