It was strange to leave Amsterdam knowing that when we return - we will be married....
But after saying goodbye to our party lives in Amsterdam (with one last party filled with candy), we first headed over to Munich to visit our friends - Izhar and Laila.
It was a nice couple of days just to catch up, not do too much (after crazy packing in Amsterdam), and of course for the boys to compete in Sony Playstation AUGH!
Then we landed in HOT Israel with a smile. First order of business - meet the new addition to Limor's family (Briel's sister). Skye was born in May and has already an older sister (Sahar) and brother (Guy).
Our days are filled with lazing on the beach, eating, sleeping and running around organising last minute details for the wedding. Oh and of course trying to get in a workout to work off all the delicious but fattening foods!
I can say that I have gone from Fluro pale pale... to nearly black. I love it. hehehe it is SO hot here at the moment that many times I want to vomit. But what a great change from the freezing cold summer in Amsterdam.
Metzizim is our beach of choice. It means "Peaking" and funny that zizim means "tits". It got this name since the beach 'next door' is a religious beach where women and men are separated - so the men on the beach next door used to 'peak' at the women on the 'common' beach who were wearing the modern bikinis. I love this beach! The dangerous flag days are when there is even a hint of wave (which us Aussies would laugh at). Mostly the beach as so calm it is perfect for a romantice relaxing float... With the water so warm it is like taking a cool bath.
For travellers, this beach is north of Gorden beach (the main tourist beach). As you walk you will also find Hilton beach a pale comparison... but then finally hit Metzizim just before you get to all the gorgeous and hip piers.
