Well again it was hard to say farewell to Chicago. This time it was because it was so fun to see Tito Erwin, Tita Gigi and Mitzy. We loved just hanging out with them. They even took vacation!
However we took the flight to Vegas - which was the scariest flight we have ever had. We sat in the last row which did not help, the flight and landing were so bumpy everyone was silent in FEAR. I was actually praying already.
However we landed safely. Took a $7.50 shuttle to the hostel (22 a night each) which was just off the strip. Was a good location and we got great tips of good food and places to see.
Sahara Casino was the place for buffet dinners. At $6.99 each where we both got $10 to spend on the slot machines. We won $40 on those - haha fun. Then we ran away with our winnings!
We saw the Mandalay Bay, Excaliber, MGM, Mirage, Venitian, Belagio, Ceasar's Palace, Treasure Island, Stratosphere. Favourite was the volcano show at the Mirage. The most grand was Ceasars, and the most beautiful was --> Venitian. MGM was great for the lions, while Mandalay was all class...
We got to see alot, ate alot... all in a short time. However any more time there and we might have decided to actually bet our own money -- haha NOT.
