Our last day included some shopping and a “girl’s night” on the plaza :)
Katrina, me, Laura and Lauren got a bottle of cheap wine and took it to a nice restaurant and had a great last meal together. No crying yet, but I’m sure tomorrow will make up for that. After dinner we went back and decided we didn’t want to go out with everyone else, so we got 2 more bottles of cheap wine and sat on the plaza fountain drinking our wine. I’m sure the local Cubans got a kick out of seeing 4 girls drinking wine out of the bottles on their fountain, but we had the best time together on our last night in port.
Back on the ship I tottered downstairs to Dan’s room where if I told you what happened, I would have to kill you. (hint: it involved lots of Cuban rum drinking with someone we wasn’t supposed to be drinking with us hehe) Needless to say, packing the next day was an interesting affair!
