Munich 2016 - last day`

We had a leisurely start today, finally!!! Had a late breakfast and checked out at noon. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel for a few hours and we went back to the pedestrian mall to see if we had missed anything. We first stopped at the hall of Justice, the court, which was an extremely ornamental building but we couldn't see too much inside. We then found the church where King Leopold II is buried but it was closed for renovation. We wandered farther to the very large building that houses the glockenspiel and found we could walk in. It's an enormous building but we kept walking up stairs to see what we might find. We found, and not well marked, there was access to an elevator that went up to the top of the tower, 9 stories high. Breathtaking views!!! great photo opportunity!!! We then had a bite to eat with some wine and beer before leaving to fetch our luggage and get the shuttle bus for the hour long trip to the airport. We arrived with plenty of time to spare only to learn the flight is delayed just over an hour. It means our connection for the train in Southamton to Weymouth may be an hour or 2 later than planned, meaning a fairly late arrival to Anne's flat.
