The town of Uyuni reminds me of a town in the wild west. There is nothing there but it is hot during the day and freezing cold at night. I'm glad we were only there for one afternoon, but it seems that its just a stop off before you go to the salt plains! We were lucky enough to see a street party while there, a very important festival for them and we hung around to watch the people dancing and liten to the music! It was great fun - but went to bed early to avoid the cold!
