After coming to Dali a few weeks ago, and deciding to stay here rather than ambitiously try and see more magical places in Yunnan, China, I find myself here again, happy.
Dali is an ancient town, well preserved and touristy to some, but for me, after making solid connections with the people who run the Dali Hump hostel, I arranged to help out and work at a nearby festival and street fair here next week.
The mountains and lake emanate clean air and peace. I'm glad to be back.
