 Hello All,

It has been a busy week. I have been fussing around trying to get my stupid license. I am not sure I an be bothered. The thought of catching the bus every day is looking better and better.

I have been applying for LOTS of jobs. I have 2 interviews on Monday and Tuesday next week. One is for an adult education thing. It is similar to the other one but mainly involving literacy (I think) which would be so much better than maths ( I didn’t get that job by the way). The other is working at a winery. That’ll be fun. I be giving people the free taste things and trying to sell them wine.

We are moving into our place tomorrow. That will be good. It is right in the middle of town so I’ll be able to get places ok. The education job is within walking distance from my place. I am bored but I am also getting lazy. It is to troublesome to go outside and pick up the newspaper.

Speaking of outside. We are experiencing a HEATWAVE it was 10 degrees today and the snow has all but all melted. I am assured that this is extremely unusual for the middle of January. The forecast for next week is all around 0 as well. The warmness of my heart has warmed this frozen land.

Out place is on the third floor. It’ll be ever so much fun to lift furniture and stuff up. Lucky we don’t have much.

I am very impressed with everyones dedication to the journal. I have been reading through old entries and was appalled at how many spelling mistakes there are. As I haven’t been working my fingernails have been freely allowed to grow to grotesque proportions. This combined with my lack of proofreading have caused the spelling mishaps. It not like I just don’t know how to spell…

I will get the internet as soon as we get the phone hooked up at our new place. THEN YOU WILL GET PICTURES. STOP HASSLING ME. Seriously, I haven’t taken many photos and many of them are poor quality.

Anyway, my next entry will be from MY HOUSE and MY COMPUTER. That’ll be great. I will email you all my new phone number. Although, my family has only called me once since I’ve been gone. They mustn’t love me very much TT (Two capital t’s is Korean netspeak for someone crying)

Anyway, I must go. Talk to you all soon

Hey Sue. Seems like everything is coming up rosy for you. Or rosier. I know you're disappointed about missing out on the house with the hole in it, but just make do. And good work with the fingernails- if you make mistakes in your new literacy job (fingers crossed), and they complain, you can just blame it on your nails. Or you can scratch their eyes out. If it gets too hot for you, strip down to your bikini, and live in a tent attached to the fridge. If you need heavy furniture moved up to the third floor, have some swarthy, good looking men bring large boulders up the stairs. Put your fridge, couch, fish tank or whatever on a see saw on the ground below your window, and drop the boulders on the other end of the see-saw- your furniture will conveniently flip into the window and slide into place. Or be smashed into a thousand pieces, and then you can bring it up in a plastic bag. SIMPLE! Anyway, keep having fun Su, and I'll try and write something actually meaningful next week... UNTIL THEN, IT'S Simon's Top Ten List Of Things They Should Give Away As Free Taste Things- 1.Parsley toothpaste 2.Silkworm Pupa 3.Hens feet 4.Flavoured stamps 5.Jelly fish jelly 6.Guinea pig on a stick 7.Soyasauce icypoles 8.Anti-hayfever ringworms(raspberry) 9.Cucumbers 10.Pepper spray

Hallo Susie, its been a while now but I finally have some news to report. Remember how i cut my index finger on my left hand and now i cant feel it as much anymore, now ive lost feeling in the same finger on my right hand. But that was with a hot glue gun. I suppose it sort of balances out.. like Star Wars. Im was enjoying my superiority at Coles, until they made me do things like refunds. I say if you really just want you 30c back that much then just bring a knife and a balaclava and hold me up. It would be much simpler

Hi, Susan. We think about you all the timr, even if we don't ring. Ringing someone that far away still seems weird to me, but I suppose this is too - weird but good. It might be all for the best that you can't yet drive a car. If you are in the middle of town, the public transport must be better and cars are always having problems, are expensive to run and you forget where you've parked them. I've noticed your frequent spelling mistakes and have preserved them all on my electronic copy of your journal (which includes all the comments). I am on holidays now for 2 weeks - I'm so happy that I don't have to get up for work in the mornings for 2 whole weeks!! We (ie, Ted, Dan and myself) will probably go down to the south-west for a few days this coming weekend, and will visit the Cheesemans. Good luck with moving into your new apartment and with your job interviews. I hope you get a job somewhere close by. Lots of love,

Susan - i MUST complain at the bully-ing that is taking place on these pages here. two chaps, i'm sure you know who I mean, are being absolutely beastly to me. But I'm not one to lie down and let them walk over me. no sirree. I can give as good as I get. so....... Mr-not-so-smartie-at-Maths Brenton FYI - this journal is now taking place in 2006 - not during the 1980's (i suspect this www wasn't even alive in the 1980s SO 2006 is the CORRECT year. Mr James - substituting stinks for sucks is sooooo 1980s. get with the millenium dude.

This is a message for Helen, in case I don't see you before you read this. Of course you are welcome to come with us if you want to. I had no idea that you didn't know we were going, since we see you every day. Love. Mum.

Hi all! Tim from India here, hijacking Sues travel page for my own nefarious devices! Lucky I can read this page to find out about reality in Australia. So, Ebony cut her finger, Helen has a lion and Susan is so hot! And Brenton and Simon and Kylie are arguing about the 80's. Everything seems to be in order. I heard about Geoff Gallop. Poor chap, give him a glass of cool refreshing water. India is cool, the traffic is like walking in Hay St Mall before Christmas, really busy but always moving and no real accidents despite the occasional detour into oncoming traffic. We are getting better access to the internet, so I will try to keep you in the know. Have fun Sue, maybe we bump into each other, India being quite close to Canada. Lovey, Tim
