There is only 1 week left till Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christmas here is BIG. There are Christmas songs playing on the radio allllll the time and Christmas movies and Christmas tips on the talk shows, Christmas articles in the newspaper. Christmas everything to a high concentration.
Yesterday I went to a church to see Jane Anns brothers daughter get baptised. The seats we sat in had RESERVED signs on them and were right at the front. I sat in the family section. That was quite the honour. Afterwards we had a lunch. A lot of Jane Anns family was there as well as even more of Jane Anns sisters family. There were lots of Children around. It was good because none of them cried when they saw me. Phew!
I am trying to look for a vehicle which will be suitable for my needs while I am here. It is quite difficult to get around without a car. Where we are staying you have to drive to get to the bus stop and then it is cold to wait.
I am getting a bit homesick, but everyone here is nice so I am ok. I miss everyone. I have been tired lately aswell. I don’t know how I’ll adjust when I start work and have to wake up before 9.00am.
