I bought 10 combs for $1.00

Howdy,

Apparently my mother thought there was something a little bit wrong with me as I hadn't written for the LONGEST time. The truth is I was moving and at our new house we hadn't got a phone line yet and it is difficult to use the internet without one. We have moved into our new place and it is very nice. It is in the attic so some of the ceilings are slanted and I have hit my head on them so many times.

I have FINALLY been able to put pictures Up. You'll find them under "Photo Galleries" in the right column. You can add comments there aswell. So if you don't understand a photo, or want to inquire futhur you'll have every opportunity.

My title refers to a comment made by a young gentleman who was serving me at the supermarket. He made many fairly random comments and sent me away with a giggle in my heart and a spring in my step. The full comment was "I bought 10 combs for $1.00. Thats 10c a comb. Thats a good deal." He was funny.

My car situation has worked itself out. I got my G1 (similar to a learners permit) and did a couple of lessons with Jane Ann. This made me realise I did not wish to go through the 'Learning to drive' process again. As we live in the centre of town now, there are plenty of buses I can catch to get around. I mentioned this to Jane Ann and her mum who came up with the brilliant suggestion of Jane Ann buying the car instead of me. Which she has done. I got her a deal.

I have had a couple job interviews this week. One doing adult teaching, one working at a winery. Either would be great. I really need something soon.

I am going to audition for the Hamiltion Theatrical Society to do one of their summer productions. Either The Taming of the Shrew or Midsomer Nights Dream. I HATE Shakespere, but it would be fun to be in a play.

I should be able to write more often. Keep the comments flowing. Kylies was good last time. A well thought through arguement. Tim have a super fun time in India... Simon have fun in Sydney. If you want my new phone number or address just email me. I don't really want to broadcast it over the web.

Sorry it is so short. I am tired and need to go to bed.

Hello, I like your pictures, I had nearly forgotton what you looked like. You are sure to get a job soon and it will be all you ever dreamed of. Ebony and I went to the Rocky Horror picture show last night and she and her friends dressed up and bought all the rice, confetti, cards, toast etc for the audience participation. There were a few other lunatics there who did the same thing and it was great. There was a group of 'yuppies' that sat infront of us that Ebony and her friends felt deserved to be pummlled by everything they had to throw, nothing like some tall poppy syndrome. There were two people who had dressed up as Janet in her underwear and the criminologist who did a rendition of Dammit Janet which was fantastic. Alisa has designed a website for the hypnois centre it is at www.hypnosishealthandhealing.com.au It is great. Talk to you soon, it is nice that you have the internet we can chat all night long - Love Helen

Hi, Susan. I think Ezra is taking up valuable space with uninformative comments designed only to flatter you (which I'm sure won't be successful). It was great to talk to you on the phone yesterday, and a great relief too. I thought you must be busy moving in etc but was getting really worried that you hadn't written for 5 days and hadn't replied to emails and I was concerned about your health and welfare. I'm glad things are going so well for you. Good luck for the job interviews next week. I think you will enjoy being in the theatrical society. I have printed out a couple of your photos and they are stuck on the fridge so we can see you. I will post you the letter re your licence today, even though this doesn't seem to be urgent now. Otherwise it may be days before it is sent, as we are leaving for the south-west tomorrow, and no-one has had any bright ideas about what to include with the letter. But I promise I will keep a diary of our trip and post it to you when we get back. We will be spending 2 nights at the Cheesemans and 3 nights at the Busselton Holiday Village. [Ted asked whether Tim has been to the cricket in India (he actually asked if Simon had)] We might not have access to a computer for the next 3 days. Keep happy! Love XX
