I have a new theory………. I surmise that country air in generous amounts whilst camping has a direct impact on the epicure centre of the brain. (Although not anatomically correct – it will suffice for the sentiments here). Anyway, I have noticed that after 20 or so years of attempting to produce gastronomical delights for the lads (and Ness) to eat – 3 course gourmet fare – which has been met with mostly an enthusiastic response – that none of this effort was in fact necessary. Because – you see, whilst camping (particularly during the joys of the flying overnight stop, this has meant that “one-pot, chuck in stuff and hope for the best meals” have been the order of the day. AND they have been regaled as the “best food ever”…… hmmm
We have been listening to Radio National and other local AM radio stations (Research – to get ourselves into rural / outback head space). SO we are listening to music I haven’t heard for a long long time. Pauly and Terri – I just don’t think our trio plays enough: Boz Scaggs; Cher; Elton John; Richard Marks ; or anything country!!! We must relook at our playlist if we want any chance of breaking into the country market! J
