Heading off
Steven and Leanne (with their youngest son, Ethan aged 10) are taking 7 months of Long Service Leave...... I am not sure one line of type does justice in expressing the huge sighing exhale that accompanies that statement. The 7 months stretching out in front of us (at this stage) provides the wonderful opportunity to escape our usual lives and to embark on a mini adventure exploring outback Australia - something we have always wanted to do but have never had the time. The other absolute blessing is the chance to spend this time in what will no doubt prove to be a dusty, hot,dry, bouncing, jarring, wet, humid, freezing, flood bound, adventure filled exploration of our continent with things that bite, sting, slither and ooze - together!
