And I thought Iranians were friendly! What a welcome in Pakistan! Everyone wnats to say hello, shake hands, have pic taken, practice their english and just hang out with you. It is like England, familiar faces and altho there are open sewers either side of the street and the whole town smells really bad, I like it. It feels good to me. Andy takes my pic next to a policeman and he moves in close and puts his arm across my shoulder. In fact, all the police are really friendly. The street food is terrific. We investigate bookshops, meet the locals and give money to one really old lady (There but for...) and one really old man. Checkout ticket at station, 3,500 rupees for 7 and half hour run to Lahore leaving 10.45 tomorow. Dinner is overlooked by starey eyed man, Andy is really good at boundaries - I am useless and let people ivade all the time which is odd because have no French blood at all.
