I booked some train tickets for Germany today. Recently I talked to my friend and confirmed the days I’ll be staying with him. Bahn is really easy to use, but the tickets use an airline style pricing for the ICE trains. Good thing I remembered to book them now or it would be an expensive mistake. Then I went walking around to some parks and looked at a few bridges. I also found a grocery store to utilize the great kitchen at the hostel. I made a spicy pepper beef thing with some nan on the side. It was good after eating mostly cold meals for a few days. I read some of a book on the patio after lunch. Eventually a DJ showed up at the hostel, so I put my book away and listened to the music. Then I had to pack and get some rest to leave in the morning.
