Not Wasting A Minute In the Autumn of 2014 I decided to not go to school, not get a job, and not renew an apartment lease. Crazy? Fun? Scary? Yes, yes and yes. But it's time to take a bite out of the world before it chews me up and spits me out like a bad taste

On a canal bridge

On a canal bridge

I did a lot of laundry today. My bed is next to a window and is perfectly set up for my clothesline. While waiting for it all to dry, I went down to the Van Gogh museum where the line was much shorter than the other day. The exhibition was enjoyable. The museum is set up chronologically with facts about what was happening in his life at the time. It was plain to see the changes in style after different events in his life.

After the museum I went to a few parks and the supermarket. My dinner was a nice noodle thing with an unknown (but pleasant) flavoring. The description was not in English. I ate it in the hostel’s common area where I met some German girls, English girls and a Romanian guy. Later in the evening we all went out for a drink at one of the patios by a canal.
