Today, our last day, was spent exploring Portland to see it's lighthouses and great views. It was also a perfectly beautiful day with sunny, clear blue skies and mild, mid-70 degree temperatures and little wind. We had cream tea, yum, and then climbed "up" Chesil Beach to go down to the water and "toe dip". It's not as easy to get to as the Danube was!! Large pebbles that were hard to walk on. We finished up my stay in the UK, and the end of my terrific 2 week holiday with a nice dinner al fresco in the heart of Weymouth.
