The story begins with deciding to go to work in Spain. Then applying for jobs in Spain. Then getting a job in Pamplona.
Before starting the job we thought it'd be good to spend some time on holiday and thought that Barcelona could be that place! what a place it is. It was just a short trip but a great introduction to our Spanish adventure.
We went to visit Gaudi houses, the Gaudi park, the beach, most of the sights in the city and the Gran Via as well as going to see a flamenco show in a little club, with a male singer who sang with such emotion that he was nearly crying and a dancer who kept everyone held spellbound.
When we finished we were sorely tempted to buy another ticket and go straight back in for the next preformance.
The show was just half an hour, but the best half an hour ever spent watching a show. We've been back there every time we've visited Barcelona since and the effect is the same every time.
