Day 126: Another quiet day

Monday 10th March I was up around 09.00 but didn't feel too well, not bad, but it seemed like I had a mild cold coming on. I thought some serious 'downtime' was in order to stave off any troublesome illness, not wanting to feel under the weather while I was with Maria & Simon. The day was yet again taken up with a lot of lounging, reading and surfing the internet. It sometimes feels like I spend a lot of time with my face stuck in a computer screen when I should be out doing whatever backpackers are supposed to do. But, like at home, there are times when you just want to mong out and do nothing more send a few emails, keep up to date on the news and the latest football stories, or do a bit of research on an upcoming destination. I'm not always on the go, and if I was it would get a bit boring. It's good to have a break before the next adventure begins. After dinner, I went back to my room and did some reading, hoping to finish off a few books that I had recently started before I left for Cambodia, just to try and lighten the load as much as possible.
