HIYAAA!! It's been a little while but as you clearly know we are busy being little travel heads! I can't remember even what I last wrote.. but WE'RE IN SCOTLAND (not for much longer *sad sad face*). After escaping Belfast rather quickly (if you want to learn the amazing, sad,crazy history and current reality of Northern Ireland..do a black cab tour.. If you want to be petrified of Northern Ireland..do a black cab tour) so we got a ferry over to my favourite place in the world (to date..). We then got a lift to Ayr. . A train to Glasgow..then another train to Edinburgh and taaa-daaa. . Home for the weekend! We did some mild exploring around the city including a free walking tour to get the history of our current city and then went and had a shit shower and bed before our Macbackpackers tour began the next day! We're learning very quickly that you can have the best day EVER..and it can all be turned around very quickly with a shitty cold or powerless shower..it's devastating for the mental health.but we move on quickly.
So when I was 17..mum and dad took me on a Macbackpackers 3 day tour and I loved it so much that ever since I have kept their business card in my copious amounts of wallets over the years and promised I would go again one day! And here we are.. nearly 7 years later we walk out to get on the bus and there's Neil Maclennon, my tour guide this time, and my tour guide from last time! Funny man, and yet again I the best time and Tom loved it as well, bonus points! I could tell you everything we did and saw but I'm lazy and typing on my phone is annoying.. so ill put up photos and you can see it all for yourselves! But the sites we saw were beautiful, like no other we have ever seen! We even got snow! Yay! On our last night the town we stayed at (Oban) had a Caillidh (I need to check spelling, sorry..lazy..again..) where they play bagpipes and teach us all how to dance the real scottish way! Was hilarious! Toms a real natural of course. Anyway.. I'll put up photos so you can see the trip.. we're in Edinburgh for the weekend before getting a 10 hour bus to London.. A night in London..then a night in Bath so we can go to the hot baths.. then another night IN london before Paris for Easter :) xoxoxo
