Hi,

I hope everyone is enjoying their pre Christmas experience. Personally I think it is far to cold to almost be Christmas. It is also strange because all of the children are still at school. Suckers.

I have just been informed that New Years day is on a Sunday and that everyone has to work again on Monday! They get no New Years day holiday! Lucky I don’t have a job.

On Tuesday night I went and test drove a couple of cars. One was no good and the other I think was a bit expensive. I don’t want to shell out that much money on a car before I become employed. It was a much bigger adjustment driving on the right hand side than I had imagined. I turned onto the wrong side and I kept banging the window as I reached over with my left hand to change gears. I also got a bit confused at the traffic lights.

I have shelled out a lot of money on something else recently. Just yesterday in fact. See if you can guess which one it is. There will be prizes for forwarded correct answers. Did I buy

       a) a computer

       b) an inflatable rocket ship

       c) skiis

       d) facial reconstruction

       e) a winter coat

       f) a bicycle

       g) new glasses

       h) the bones of a shaman

The prize will be a lifetime of secret unspoken love.

Yesterday I had lunch with Margaret and her womens group. That was actually quite fun. I took some pictures of it which I will put up on my journal soon. Then I went to the Christian Bookstore where Margaret works and helped to o the books. It was actually quite fun too. I got to use an adding machine. Then I went to a pub with Jane Ann to meet some of her friends from university.  They were all quite nice. One person was sitting next to Jane Ann and across from me. A couple times I said stuff and he turned to Jane Ann and asked for an interpretation. That was funny.

I am going to Jane Anns parents house for Christmas… Although they are not really celebrating it until the end of January because that is when everyone can get there.

Everyone remember to try the trivia question. The prize is AWESOME!

I will guess that the most likely thing you have bought is 1. A coat (as you are cold) 2. skis (because you are adventurous) or 3. a bicycle (because you can't afford a car). Remember that Christmas supplanted yule-tide, which is supposed to be celebrated in the middle of winter. Lots of loveXX

Dont buy a heap. Make sure it doesnt blow smoke when you revv it. Make sure it doesnt idle. Look in the oil cap and make sure its not all sludgy and make sure the engine doesnt rattle. Make sure theres no white powdery stuff around the radiator hoses. (lovingly typed by Ebony)

Good to see you're getting smashed after all that work in the Christian bookstore Sue. Keep it up. I really hope that you have had facial reconstruction, so much so, that you could come back and no one would recognise you! Oh, the stunts you could play!Normally I can decipher your sentences, but I have no idea what 'o the books' means. NO PUBLIC HOLIDAY? That's ridiculous. You're really sticking it to The Man, cause you can take holidays anytime you like. YET AGAIN...
