My super boring journal I would like some more pressed duck.

Cards for sorrow, Cards for Pain

Hi, My lasy day in LA Yippee!

Today I did a tour of the Kodak theatre (where they have the oscars). That was cool. They informed me that every picture that has won for best picture was shot on Kodak film. It was pretty cool. I sat in the seat johnny depp sat in last year, and I went on stage... and there were only two of us on the tour so that was cool.

Then I wnt to The Hollywood History Museum. That was ok. They has the sets from startrek, cheers and x files. The tour was long and a bit boring. The man who took us around kept making jokes that weren't funny and holding things up. The coolest thing was a video about how to do foley for a piece of film. It is very funny to watch.

In the afternoon I went shopping. I bought a lot of things. Lot of Christmas stuff. Not for Daniel though. I am quite hurt that since I have been gone you have not left me one message on my journal. Nor have you emailed me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are not illiterate. You can use a computer. Even Dad has passed messages on through mum. You disappoint me.

Highlights of LA: Free movies and TV shows, always getting free condiments with your meals, having the option of ice tea when you get a post mix beverage and the tar pits, seeing (semi)famous people, the weather.

Low points of LA: The mess in the streets, the homeless people, the pollution, the busy streets, the distance to get anywhere, the dodgy public transport and the lack of variety.

Hope you are all well. Next time I do this I'll be in Canda eh!

The seat Jonny Depp sat in, that is pretty cool. Oh how i wish i was far away too. I hope there is lots of snow in Canada, take some photos. Can you put photos on this boring journal thing? cos that would be nice. I will beat Daniel up for you. Love Helen

As you know, Ebony hogs the computer so Daniel doesn't get much of a chance to go on it. I'm not sure whether she would bother putting messages on from him. I have just deposited your tax cheque for $201.31 into your ANZ account, with no hassles. I am still confused about the time - ie how you can you have already written your journal for Friday when you are 17 hours behind us and it is only Friday afternoon here. Or is the date on the journal a different date from the date there? I assume that it is, because you said you were leaving for Canada on Friday. It must be nearly 10pm there, as it is nearly 3pm here, so you will probably be going to bed soon and leaving for Canada tomorrow. Best of luck for the trip - I hope it will be uneventful in a bad sense, but not in a good sense. Lots of love

Hi Sue, This is the first time I have read your journal and I must say I had a bit of a laugh at both the journal and the comments. (Particularly about your mother's obsession with the time difference. I am a bit baffled too, I am writing this about 4.30 pm on Friday 9th December, so technically there - at least in LA - it is not Friday yet.) The journal certainly gives an insight into life in LA. Good luck for your trip to Canada. It should be quite different (not that I've ever been to either place). I think you might need a coat or two in Canada. Congratulations on developing such a 'cool' website. I wish I knew how to do stuff like that. Roger and I were back in Perth recently for about 9 days. (Got back last Monday night). He had a two day course with the Bureau of Statistics, but before that we saw his sister who had come over from England. Safe travelling, Love Janet

I don't believe mum said that. Even she wouldnt attack me like that. Daniel has all the time in the world to go on the computer, he'd just rather play the playstation and watch TV. And believe me mum, if daniel had told me to pass a message to sue I would have done it quite readily, im not as selfish as mum made me out to be. Make sure you say Canadia instead of Canada. Have you been working on the accent?

Hello little Susey. Did you realise your family are INSANE? It is wonderful that you have given them a website to facilitate their lunacy to the world. We went to Neil's birthday party today- he is 30 on Tuesday. Ezra was awake and very cute- then Simon held him and he started getting upset. Tim gave your dad a car door and a tyre. Our dad talked to your dad about crabbing in Mandurah. AND Simon used Daniel's EyeToy at school for the last day of the year, and it was the best day of school EVER! I tried demonstrating the baseball game to them, but they were much better than I was. Kylie was going to jump out of a plane today, but we talked her down. And finally, it's time for Simon's Top Ten List of Illiterate Yet Successful People 1.Enid Blyton 2.Tom Cruise 3.Rob Schneider 4.Einstein 5.Stephen Hawking 6.50 Cent 7.Betty White(Golden Girls) 8.Anna Nicole Smith 9.Mike Tyson 10.Jim Davis(Garfield)
