We are David and Frances. We were happy in the social service sector of Winnipeg until we realized that we were burning out. We wanted to experience each moment more fully, and less divided by too busy a schedule. We were unable to handle Winnipeg winters very well anymore, either. And we felt the need to be closer to our food source. Finally, working in the garden seemed like the healing that we needed. So, we sold our home (tailored to our needs over a period of 15 years) and hit the open road on a Greyhound bus on October 26th, 2007. As we travelled, we felt more free, and more healthy. We are still getting the hang of our new lifestyle, and do not know where all the changes will take us, though we do enjoy the variety and the change of perspective. We will never be the same again!
