Chapel Hill Completion

USA | Tuesday, 1 April 2008 | Views [425]

While we were working in the Chapel Hill area, we thought it a great opportunity to visit our cousin Joanne, her husband Steve and their three boys. The eldest is in Kindergarten and the youngest is newborn. We finally got together at the end of our stay, and headed over to their place the day before our departure for Virginia and Light Morning. It was a very pleasant interlude with one of the sweetest families on the planet, and we got to see our newest first cousin, once removed. The eldest son, Cobie, was not interested in being photographed, though we can tell you that he did read the sports page when he came home from school and discussed the headline with his mom. We did manage to capture a photo of Landon with his parents, but did not ask him for a release form. I’m not sure what happened with Caleb. I don’t know how we missed snapping a photo of him, but, I do know that it turned out incredibly well when Joanne sent out a notice that he had been featured on You Tube in a truly hilarious little piece. In Joanne’s words:

If you have 3 minutes, check out the YouTube video at this link:

http://blogs.wncn.info:80/pintsize/ Our local news has a program called "pint-sized sports" that featured one of Caleb's 4 v 4 soccer games. It's the one that aired on 4/2. It's pretty cute, and not just because Caleb's on it! For those of you too far away to visit often, Caleb is the shortest, blondest one of the lot, the one "blissfully unaware of his own last name."
